Recent events related to femicide have prompted all of us to raise awareness and re-examine our own attitudes towards domestic violence.
At COOKINA we are proud to say that 2/3 of our department heads are women. Our leaders are exceptionally strong, positive and have our utmost respect.
We are showing our support by also partnering this year with the Fondation Carrefour pour Elle, a local organization that offers free 24/7 assistance and shelter services to women who are victims of domestic violence and in difficulty, with or without their children.
Please join us in encouraging their good deeds during the 12 Days of Activism Against Domestic Violence campaign. In collaboration with the Maison des Encans St-Laurent and Jakibi, the Carrefour pour Elle Foundation will hold its very first virtual auction during which a variety of items will be offered, including a few baskets containing a full range of COOKINA reusable products.
The campaign will be held from November 25 to December 6, 2021, the commemorative date of the victims of femicide at École Polytechnique.
